Gypsy Taylor

Gypsy is an award-winning Costume Designer and Illustrator whose 25 year career spans feature & short films, TV series, commercials, theatre and animation.

Recent projects include – The Newsreader (ABC, BBC), Our Flag Means Death (MAX), Wellmania (NETFLIX), The Wheel of Time (AMAZON), Russell Crowe’s Poker Face (HULU) and Wild Oats starring Shirley MacLaine and Jessica Lange. Past credits include – Walt Disney’s Pandora – The World of AVATAR collab with James Cameron designing the ride’s Shaman of the River. Character concept design for The Babadook. Jim Henson Creature Shop collabs – Oscar’s Hotel for Fantastical Creatures and Me & my Monsters. Horror films, Mercy Black and 12 Hour Shift.

Gypsy has also been part of the costume crews for Alien: Covenant, Mortal Engines, The First Purge, The Wolverine, God’s of Egypt, X: MEN Origins-Wolverine, Australia, The Chronicles of Narnia – The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and The Dawn Treader.
